Wings of Hope Charity Event/Hanger Dance

Sept 6th, 2008

The CAF puts on a Free event each year, asking only for the donation of a non-perishable food item to enter our doors. We will have our aircraft (B-25, BT-13, L-5, Harvard MKIV, PT-22) along with a number of local aircraft on display! WWII Re-enactors will be onsight with authentic uniforms, gear, and weaponry. Our hangar will house veterans of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, on hand to share their experiences and artifacts. Our PX will be selling merchandise for half-off. We will have food and beverages for sale as well. As always, our Musuem will be open with our many artifacts from WW2! This event benefits the Tourettes Syndrome Association of MN, America's Second Harvest Heartland (food shelf), and the Commemorative Air Force MN Wing. Our doors will open at 10 a.m. and Close at 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m. our doors will reopen for our annual Bomber's Moon Ball! The Roseville Big Band will be playing 40's era music until midnight. Our attendance averages close to 1000 people of all ages, dancers of all skill levels, and people who just like to visit and watch. Dance lessons will be provided so come early! The MN Corvette Club will dispay their cars, along with our aircraft, acting as a backdrop for the event. You won't want to miss it! Our requested donation is $10 dollars per person. All donations are to a non-profit organization and tax deductable.
